Responsibilities
- Manages and oversees the day-to-day construction management of the project
- Ensures the project site is safe and ensures that safety rules and HSE guidelines are followed
- Plans, organizes, directs, controls, and evaluates construction projects from start to finish according to schedule
- Reviews construction sequence and provides inputs to Constructability review
- Leads a team of Discipline leads
- Delegates work to colleagues within the team
- Meets regularly with clients, third parties and other managers to report on progress
- Coordinates with Engineering/ Procurement/ Commissioning teams and provides input
- Ensures KPIs are met and reviews project schedule and ensures the required progress is achieved
- Conducts site visits and reports to Project Managers on project progress
- Demonstrates leadership in managing the subcontractors and leads
- Leads the team and ensure project completion within the set budget
- Ensures the work is done in accordance with the quality requirements, schedule, and conformance with the contract documents
- Manages subcontractor manpower and plans the work based on the project schedule
- Manages subcontractor manpower planning
- Oversees the logistical requirements of the project
- Responsible for planning out projects
- Responsible for ensuring the project goes according to plan during the implementation time frame.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering or related engineering disciplines, Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply
- Minimum 7 years of experience in EPC Projects for Oil & Gas, Offshore Renewables & Systems
- Good knowledge of understanding engineering drawings
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
- Able to motivate in a challenging work environment
- Good in planning, organizing, interpersonal skills and able to work independently
- Able to work day & night shifts with extendable working hours
